This site contains material produced for the MCI Study Group conceived and stewarded by Gordy Hill. Gordy is master certified casting instructor and former Fly Fishers International (FFI) Casting Board of Governors (CBoG). It is intended to aid those working towards advanced casting instructor certification but have limited access to other instructors in their geographic regions.
The group has members that have attained certification but remain with the group to continue learning and to assist others. We also have a number of well known instructors ands subject matter experts in various fields.
Much of the material from the original study group has been archived and is available here.
Stewardship of the study group is currently being carried on by Walter Simbirski, a master certified casting instructor with FFI.
This site publicly viewable but to actively participate or receive notification of new material you must be a registered member. We welcome members from all casting certification organizations and those with a genuine interest in fly casting.
There is no charge for membership and your privacy is strictly maintained.
