Walter & Group...
[GH] I have attached an off-topic message about Task 5 (curve casts) from Bill Keister followed by my comments.
The second attachment is on Task 7 (Roll casts), from Ckling.

[GH] From Paul Arden who named the "Flick Lift ":
Hi Gordy, the flick lift is where the rod tip is flicked up and slightly forward to sent a wave down the line to clear the line from the water surface. When the wave reaches the leader the line can be cast. It's a rename of Henry Lowe's not well-known dynamic lift in the UK. At least if this us what we are discussing - and I think it is. I took the liberty of renaming it because I figured flick lift was less confusing!
Give me a couple of days and I can make a video.
Cheers Paul

[GH] Paul,
Not really the same as usually described for the lift made with classic Spey casts.
Thanks. If you make and send the video, I'll share it with the Group.

[GH] Next topic will be Tasks 9 & 10. SINGLE AND DOUBLE SPEY CASTS.
