Peter... I have not yet seen that. When bonefishing, I make a loop-to-loop connection between the end of my tapered section and the class tippet. That gives a quicky disconnect making it easy to use class tippets of different material (Fluorocarbon), different lengths, and different diameters/pound tests.
I make changes according to fishing circumstances. Longer and lighter when fish are very spooky, shorter when windy, lighter for tailing fish in skinny water, etc. Gordy

Here is a class outline for a session tomorrow on the Bear River north of Preston Idaho. We have no idea of the level of casting compentence of attendees but feel the majority will be rank beginners. I did not include time frame because we have about five hours to use.
I would be interesting to get feed back from the group on this outline in terms of improvement for the future.
