    I agree, completely.  Standard lines for fishing have about 20% max. stretch.  They are fine.

    Bruce and I had some discussion on stretchy lines and distance casting. If by "distance casting" you mean elite level competition then stretch is a bad thing. For the rest of us a fairly stretchy line is desirable.
