Just a
short note on the "thrust' at the end of the cast.

Rajeff alluded to this to me several years back - about 20 I think - and he
stated that the lift and thrust at the end of the cast COMPRESSES the rod and
gives you an additional load. You are actually bringing the butt of the rod up
toward the SLP of the line. It is almost as effective as a haul.
