[GH] It gives me pleasure to call your attention to the Mountain Home Instructor's School. Participation in this would serve as a primo event in preparation for MCI certification as well as continued education at all instructor levels. Also advanced training for MCI's who are preparing to be qualified examiners. A great opportunity!

This course is hosted by Chuck Easterling, Steve Hollensed and Joe Libeu, all active members of the IFFF Casting Board of Governors.

As many of you know, Chuck is past Chairman of the CCI Testing Committee. Joe is past Co-Chairman and present senior advisor to the MCI Testing Committee. Steve has distinguished himself as a suburb fly casting instructor with many years of experience.

To those interested, I suggest acting without delay as the remaining openings are likely to be filled quickly.

Hi Gordy,

I keep thinking that I have sent you notice of the the Instructors' School that Joe Libeu, Steve Hollensed and I will be putting on June 7-9 in Mountain Home but i fear that i have not. As in the past, we are limiting attendance to twenty students who must be either CI 's or MCI's.

This school will be focused on the MCI tasks with two goals in mind: bringing about a better understanding of task expectations, which should help those who are preparing to test and also be of great assistance to MCI's who act as examiners; and practice drills to help in a number of areas of casting.

Steve and I are very pleased to bring Joe Libeu to our area--it is Steve and my thinking Joe has a wealth of knowledge with respect to so many aspects of casting and testing. Joe's insights have certainly influenced what I look for when administering an MCI exam.

I thought I had e-mailed you notice of this school in the past but fear I may have failed to do so.
