    Walter...

I never intended to publish or to use the information except to help distribute knowledge on fly fishing and fly casting.

If someone else would see fit to publish it I would have no objection.....so I don't see the need to gain copyright protection.

Just thought of one more thing.

I removed all email addresses and phone numbers from the message archive so that they wouldn't be available for spammers.
The actual content of the archive probably belongs to you - would you like to have a copyright notice letting people know not to
copy or distribute without your permission? Optionally we could password protect parts of the web site but I don't hold much
    faith in that approach.

Actually - two more things... We could also set up a discussion forum rather than using emails and get around the problem
of too many emails being viewed as spam. It would change the nature of the discussion if it was an open forum. Another
option would be to have a forum with limited access - people send you emails and you post the ones you want to distribute.

    Thanks

    Walter...

Many of us non-physics / engineer folks in the Group, have had trouble really coming to terms with the basic understanding of:

1.) Velocity  2.) Acceleration  3.) Linear acceleration as well as terms relating to application of force, torsional and otherwise.

I wonder if you could help us by referring us to some basic texts or other writings  which will help clarify these and other physics terms in a way which is not too difficult for the lay person to understand ?

    Thanks !
