Both Al Crise and Bruce Richards got question # 2 of the quiz correct. Guy Manning informed me that prior to the AFTMA, the organization responsible for the older method of rating fly lines (By diameter) was the MAACC. (I didn't know that.)
So, in order of time, we have: 1.) MAACC, 2.) AFTMA, 3.) AFFTA, 4.) ASA.

Gordy, it is the ASA, American Sportfishing Assoc. that grew from the
defunct AFTMA. AFFTA, American Fly Fishing Trade Assoc., is the
organization that the fly fishing trade built when AFTMA didn't pay any
attention to us. ASA would love to have AFFTA rejoin now that fly fishing
is about the only healthy segment of the fishing market....
