G'day!

Actually I like both. I've been using "trajectory" to mean launch angle, so it's kind

of handy to still have a term I can still use!

I do like Gordy's concept of trajectory to mean the point. That makes for

a cleaner understanding I think.

Your use of the term, "G'day" reflects the fact that you have been spending time, DOWN UNDER.

 

We could look at it as, "LAUNCH ANGLE" being where we aimed it, and "TRAJECTORY" as what actually happened, I suppose.

 

If you have already been using the term, "launch angle", then you are a bit ahead of us !
