    Not really, since you wouldn't be distance casting.  This task is to see if the candidate has good smooth efficient hauling technique at moderate distance.

    With no shoot, there isn't the important timing of the release involved.

    Howdy Gordy,
     YOU have covered the stop of the haul for release and Shooting.
     Part of the testing is to keep hauling for 6-7 times. Here you are hauling feeding back with out a 'Shoot'.
     Does this change any of the timing of the haul and stop of the haul?
